Making the Annual Meeting Climate Change Neutral
More than 2,000 people are making their way to the Swiss alpine resort of Davos for the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting which begins on Wednesday 24 January.
As climate change is one of the issues at the top of agenda of the 5-day meeting, participants are very much aware of the energy costs to get them to Davos. So the Forum is providing them with a way to offset their emissions, by joining the Davos Climate Alliance.
André Schneider, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum explains more about how this meeting is looking to be climate change neutral:

Dear Andre
Very interested to hear how this type of initiative could be set up easily by different players and scaled further to embrace travel all year round to all destinations.
Best wishes
